SAMS is on the front lines of crisis relief for Syria to alleviate suffering, save lives, and rebuild healthcare.
SAMS works to serve the medical needs of all patients in need, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or political affiliation. Inside Syria, SAMS provides medical care and relief delivery, establishing over 100 medical facilities and supporting more than 1,700 health workers.
SAMS proudly provides care for Syrian refugees who have been forced the flee the country. In Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, and Greece, SAMS provides medical care, including psychosocial programs, for refugees population both in refugees camps, such as Al Za’atari Camp in Jordan, and for those living in urban settings.
SAMS also arranges medical missions to these areas each year to provide trainings to health workers, deliver assistance, and provide lifesaving healthcare.
